Twelve Tags of Christmas with Viva Las Vegastamps! Design Team!!!

will each be making tags every day December 1st thru 12th,

all using the same plate of stamps

Today's tag features the "There's no place like home for the Holidays" sentiment from VLVS plate 1363 inked in Stewart Superior Memories Brown Dye Ink. I used a patterned paper from My Minds Eye "Holly Jolly" 6" paper pad for the base. This had a nice wintery woods feel and subtle sheet music faintly in the background. I embossed the left edge with a cuttlebug border embossing folder of a winter scene. Then I rubbed up the embossing and edges with cats eye chalk inks. I also rubbed in some Platinum Planet Dew Drop ink on the snowy areas and added some speckles with my favorite gelly hologram pen. I also added a slight shadowing to the text with a brown marvy marker {**tip** this helped disguise imperfections in my stamped image as a result of stamping after using embossing folder}. I topped it off with a scrap of teal satin ribbon and a May Arts burlap bow. Simple and rustic, warm and cozy. That's what Christmas is all about.
