Some BUNNIES Love Unscripted Sketches #218

Happy Saturday! It's Sketch-it Saturday with Unscripted Sketches and time for a brand new sketch... Unscripted Sketches #218. With all the projects I've been working on for playing along with the Gallery Idol rounds, I set aside coordinating items together to use up several unfinished items sitting in a pile on my worktable.

This cute group of rabbits is a stamped image from Viva Las VegaStamps! accented with watercolor pencil {sans water}. I added strokes in circular and sketchy patterns to build up subtle layers of color. The plaid paper scrap is BoBunny layered with other solid cardstock scraps mounted with photo corners. The finishing touch are these bright "POP" of color flowers... AND to give the bunnies some prominence to balance, I cut pointy triangles into two scraps of green cardstock and curled them to give dimensional grass.

I'm on a last minute weekend getaway and I packed up my pieces for final assembly in the hotel room. I have to say I don't know how I'd live without my Miracle Tape! Within a few minutes, I've got everything tacked down... even the flowers. Another card ready for my handmade card box. In keeping the theme generic, this card could be used for a birthday, thank-you or "HELLO" greetings on the go!

What is Sketch it Saturdays at Unscripted Sketches? Every Saturday morning a new sketch is posted for the week. Flip the sketch, rotate it… create a card, a scrapbook page, a wall hanging, digital, paper, fabric, paint, anything your imagination comes up with! There is no right or wrong way, as long as you are using the Unscripted sketch as the inspiration for your creation! And everyone is invited to join in the fun... and post your creation on their page via inlinkz for all the world to see!
