Twelve Tags of Christmas with Viva Las Vegastamps! Design Team!!!
Myself along with members of the Viva Las Vegastamps! Design Team
will each be making tags every day December 1st thru 12th,
all using the same plate of stamps
Thanks for stopping by! To get back to the top of the hop,
Here is my creation for today....
I used 6 stamps for this tag - all Viva Las Vegastamps!
Two sentiments are from plate 1363.
Two sentiments are from plate 1363.
For today's tag I started out with two sentiments from plate 1363 and 4 other stamps all from VLVS. The paper is hand painted by rubbing distress ink pads on teflon mat, mist with water and then press paper into it and voila, a lovely background. Next I took the "May all your Christmas Dreams Come True and inked the stamp with three colors of ink; blue in the center, burgundy on the bear and green on the branch and then stamped on base.
Detail of the tag so that the stamped images are more visable.
Can you pick out all the stamped images???
Then I took the two stars, peppermint candy and holly and filled in around quote in a variety of shimmery dew drop inks. Can you see the moons and doves??? Where are the stamps for those. They are actually from the "Merry Christmas" stamp from plate 1363. Each of the letters are a picture. For the dove I inked the letter "Y" and for the Moon the letter "C". How cool is this? I went back in with my gelly hologram pen to add shimmer to peppermint wrapper and white pen to the doves and candy centers. I finished this tag off with some gold fringe and an organza bow on top.
Sugarplums are dancing with this lovely tag! Enjoy : )
