Anything But a Card Challenge 23 is "STEAMPUNK". YES... you read this correctly – Steampunk!!! Anything Goes within this ever popular genre! Victorian, Airships, Industrial and Mechanical... get GEARED up for all things Steampunk – need we say more!!! The theme is full of so many possibilities. Just remember create anything except a card...
For those of you who are fans of Viva Las VegaStamps! you know my first stamp "Blue Police Box" was released on a plate 909 with fabulous illustrations by artist Brian Kesinger and his Octopus "Otto" and his gal Pal "Victoria". Click HERE to read more about Brian and his first book "Walking Your Octopus: A Guide to the Domesticated Cephalopod."
So for photographing my headband made of an assortment of Prima embroidered florals, metal flowers and other metal goodness {also all Prima} and some May Arts ribbons, I grabbed this stuffed octopus I have as a memento from my days working at Summer Camp. I've named her Petunia and she can be Otto's little sister. I must admit, she looks pretty cute all dolled up... and it looks pretty great taming my wild auburn tresses too!
Hope your Sunday is fun and creative! I'm getting ready for another Monday afternoon Art Camp preparing crafty goodness for the kids. Sb :)
How much do I love this?!!! Another inspired piece and I adore it. I shall edit my blog to include a link (I already did one for the button fairy!). FABULOUS x
