Has Anyone Seen My Cigar... Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #36 "D is for Dudes"

Happy Saturday Friends! Today I am joining the dames over at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers for their latest challenge. I am having so much fun playing along with their challenges... and who doesn't love to be a queen for a day {or two}.

Edna has a new challenge for you this fortnight... "D is for Dudes" - and it's to make a dude card or project for the man(men) of your life. Be it a Father's Day card (which is fast approaching), a birthday, graduation, or wedding card or project, the choice is yours - just make it for a guy!

Here is my card creation for the challenge. The stamps "Has anyone seen my cigar?" and Pig Smoking Pipe are from Viva Las VegaStamps! I ventured into my paper stash and found this distressed stripe that looks like old PJ's for the base. The images are stamped on scraps of a patterned creme and triple matted on layers of grey and creme cardstocks and set off with good old-fashioned photo corners {the lick and stick kind}. I added a little color to this PARLOR DUDE with Derwent Watercolor Pencils - minus the water brush this time. I can't stop chuckling. CLICK HERE to see my birthday card and DIY washi tutorial this week featured at VLVS!

Thanks for dropping by! I hope you join in and play along with the Sisters with this new challenge {you have 2 weeks}. Stay tuned as I have some other "D is for DUDE" makes to share. :) Sb

Who Cut the CAKE at the #Stamping Party...

I had a fun time making this real snarky birthday card last week for my sister using Viva Las VegaStamps! for the "C is for Cake" challenge over at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers {CLICK HERE to see my card from last week}.

While on this sugar high from all the CAKE... I had a little more rubber inspiration that I just had to get out of my head! Woe is a stampers life - LOL! So I made a couple CAS cards on white card blanks with black ink, markers and a bit of stamping/fussy cutting on bright colored papers. Enjoy!

"Hurry or the Party might be over..."

I have a bunch of birthday themed stamps in a baggie. It never dawned on my until this challenge - the combination just seems so right... or is this so WRONG - teeheehee!

I added some quick POPs of color to the hats and balloons by stamping onto bright colorful cardstock and fussy cut the pieces. A glue pen makes quick work of attaching small pieces.

The party streamer stamp was in a really light blue and I went over with my gelly stardust pen, the scanner couldn't even pick it up as its like a watermark. I fussy cut the cake to overlay onto three strips of washi tape - one stamped with the sentiment. **A TIP** Stamp on the washi tape before layering.

All Dressed Up for the Easter Parade

Hello everyone! I'm bringing you a little SUGARY SWEET Easter Greetings today with this stamped hanging Easter greeting! I've created this to play along with the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers SOSS #30 - E is for Easter Challenge... this is not so much snarky this time but I think I might get a cavity from all the candy coated colors in this Easter Bunny.

This yellow Easter egg decor has been sitting in my craft drawer for ages waiting to be altered - and it's finally been put to crafty use... with stamped goodness and glittery pens! To see more about how I created this CLICK HERE to jump over to see the details on the Viva Las VegaStamps! Blog.

Have a Happy Easter!

Everything's Coming Up Clovers... or in a Shamrock Haze!

Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying St. Patrick's Day and all things GREEN and IRISH that lead to the welcoming of Springtime. I've been totally seeing green and LUCKY ME... I have the supplies, stamps and scraps out for the making. There's a couple challenges that I really wanted to participate in so today I took one hour before work to make a fun tag to share over at Anything But a Card Challenges No. 45 "Green with Envy" and Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers SOSS #29 - L is for Leprechaun. Both of these challenges are open for a few days and are full of creative inspiration.

This tag was fun to make and I just went for it transforming a scrap of marbelized painted creme cardstock into this green fantasy. A bunch of inky, stamped goodness here along with a bit of some hand coloring. I hope you like my Leprechaun sitting atop of the toadstools enjoying his IRISH dinner.

Happy St. Patty's Day!
