Myself along with members of the Viva Las Vegastamps! Design Team
will each be making tags every day December 1st thru 12th,
all using the same plate of stamps
Thanks for stopping by! To get back to the top of the hop,
Here is my creation for today....
Using Stewart Superior Black dye ink, I stamped the "Sleeping Elf" stamp from plate 1363 and colored him using watercolor technique with Marvy markers and waterbrush. This technique is wonderful for achieving depth by building up transparent layers. Then I colored over him with my gelly hologram pen for shimmer. I popped him up on 3-d dots and leaned him against my recycled wrapping paper gifts. I made these by wrapping the paper around chipboard scraps and tying off with recycled gift ribbons. This adorable snoozing elf certainly has the right idea...so its back to bed for me : )
See you tomorrow!

What a cute idea for a tag project. It would have never crossed my mind to make a big gift as the main body of the tag. Clever, clever!!

That is so cute with the tiny elf against the hugh pressies I can understand why he's so tired lol
ReplyDeleteHow clever to turn the tag itself into a gift package. I'm really liking this little guy. Not sure he's much help in Santa's workshop, though. Always asleep!
